Welcome to the Badri & Chitra Maskey Foundation.

It is with immense gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility that I share the vision behind this foundation. Over the past five decades, my work in public health, education, and community development has been driven by the belief that “service to mankind is a religion.” This foundation represents the institutionalization of my lifelong contributions, as well as my family’s dedication to uplifting society.

In addition to my professional roles, I have actively worked in areas such as clean drinking water, education, health, and emergency services. These efforts reflect my commitment to addressing the essential needs of our communities. With my retirement, I pledge to dedicate my life to continuing these endeavors with the same vigor and passion.

Unfortunately, in today’s world, self-interest often takes precedence over collective welfare, leading to a diminished recognition and practice of true social service. Serving the society is, in fact, serving oneself, as we all are part of the same community. It is essential to bring back the spirit of selfless service and inspire others to contribute to the betterment of society.

It is my hope that the coming generations will embrace and continue the legacy of social service, advancing the foundation’s mission for years to come.
