About Badri & Chitra Maskey
Pioneers in Community Service, Healthcare, and Education
Badri Bahadur Maskey, along with his wife Chitra Maskey, founded this foundation to carry forward their combined vision of improving the lives of people in their community. Badri’s illustrious career spanned over five decades, during which he held prominent roles in government health services, healthcare, educational institutions, and Lions Clubs International.
Badri Bahadur Maskey’s Legacy
With over 50 years of experience, Badri’s journey began as a Surveillance Supervisor and Malaria Inspector, advancing to leadership positions as Senior Health Technician and Founder of the Gorkha Health Science Academy. His leadership in Lions Clubs International and other community-based projects highlighted his commitment to social welfare, community development, and education.
Chitra Maskey’s Contribution
Chitra Maskey, a passionate advocate for education and community welfare, has been a key figure in supporting her husband’s work and leading initiatives that benefit local women, children, and underprivileged groups. Together, they laid the foundation for a brighter future for Gorkha and beyond.
